jelly newsletter : summer artist showcase

Earlier this week I launched the most recent illustration newsletter for jelly london.

The e-mail focused on one particular artist – Caroline Tomlinson – in a showcase; similar to the Artist of the Month campaigns I used to direct before I started Social Alchemy.  Their specific aim is to create a reputation for the artist by focusing on their unique artistic style.

Above-the-line housed, not only jelly’s branding & contact details, but two of Caroline’s most attention-grabbing images with links to her work on the blog and an especially built flash-based showcase page.

Stills were supplied by Hulya; template design & layout, copywriting, portfolio build and send was Fuelled by Social Alchemy.

Initial statistics show a 30% open rate and a 9% click rate overall; Final figures will be released next week.
